Carnaval in Tilburg
– THIS IS A SPECIAL EVENT –
Run 1442 on March 01, 2025

Prepare yourself for a two-day special event in Carnaval town Tilburg, it is renamed into “Kruikenstad” for the duration. We do the run in the afternoon, have food, dress up and go into town for Brabant Carnaval. This hash event is a Dutch traditional by now, organized by the Brabant Hash House Harriers. Make sure you dress up as something rediculous. You will stand out and look rediculous if you don’t look rediculous.
Then you have to make the most important decision of your life; take the last train home or crash at Pink Panter’s place. Bring a sleeping bag and an air mattress. (Don’t be a Jesus Hickey Christ by sleeping on a hard floor while there was a perfectly comfortable sofa available).
If you prefer to spend the night at a hotel or B&B, make a reservation on short notice !! Carnaval is a busy time in this part of the country.
There will be breakfast for whomever decides to crash. We might assign a volunteer to set a (live) hangover run after breakfast. We eat whatever is left from dinner the day before for lunch today. Gay for a Day

Celebrate Amsterdam Pride Week with a fabulous run where everyone’s encouraged to be “Gay for a Day”!
We will secure a nice spot along one of the canals from where we do the run first and we make sure we are back in time to watch the parade. There will be enough beer and non-alcoholic stuff as wel. And there will be lunch and perhaps a BBQ to top it off. Dress code: as Gay as they come.
