Set a Run

We take turns in setting trails. Do not worry, if you just joined us, we will not bother you for a long while. One of our experienced hares will be assisting you the first time you volunteer.

You want to set a trail? Contact our friendly neighbourhood Hare-Raiser Pink Panter.

Below is a list with dates for which we seek hares in the coming Months. All other dates are fully booked for that period. The dates we mention are all Sundays, but if you prefer a Saturday, that is fine as well.

Notes on finances

Our runs generally have a beer- or drink- stop and then of course more beer, drinks and nibbles after the run for the circle. Make sure there is non-alcoholic stuff as well.

You don´t have to buy the cheapest beer you can find, but if there is something on discount or in “bonus” you should not pass-by that.

Your budget is €5 to €10 per paying hasher on your run (hares and children don’t pay) Hash Cash is €5, BUT If you arrange for a beerstop in a pub, hash cash is €7.50. (Please remember this only covers a simple pilsener beer, most definitely not all sorts of nifty craft beers)

Save your receipts and send them to Slippery for reimbursement. It is up to you to get “statiegeld” back.

Find a way to bring leftovers to any next run (or save it for your next run). Communicate whatever you bring with the next hare.

If you have all sorts of special plans and such, you are more than welcome to include that. We can prepare a “tikkie” for the extra expenses. You get whatever we raise for these extras. This is your opportunity to make a profit off the hash 🧐.
