Karnaval in Tilburg

Karnaval in Brabant. We do a run Saturday afternoon and then have food. You decide whether you go into town in the evening or not. You might want to take the last train home, but there is crash space as well (bring a sleeping bag and air matrass). We’ll manage some breakfast and perhaps there are more things to do that Sunday.

Green and Orange are the Tilburg colours during Karnaval. Or wear something silly. You will look very silly if you don’t look very silly. Not dressing up is a big NO-NO during Karnaval in this part of the World.

We cater for veggies, no need to notify us about that. Free parking available, provided you give Pink your licence plate and help him remind.

Come to Amsterdam on 25 July for a unique hash experience ! With the good ship On On as our flagship vessel, we’ll set a trail through our 17ᵗʰ century UNESCO heritage canal system. With six to eight people on a boat, you’ll cruise your way through a trail that shows off Amsterdam from its best angle – the water level –

We’re still deciding what to include or not in this Canal Hash weekend. Clicking the registration button and filling in the form serves as both a way for you to pre-register and get in the front of the list for the canal hash –and- to let us know what else you’d like to do for that weekend and beyond.

Today is also the start of WorldPride Amsterdam 2026, with the infamous Canal Parade on Saturday August 1ˢᵗ and the even more infamous Gay for a Day Hash that day. Provisional plan: It is Amsterdam Pride Parade today, no better day for a hash. We pick a nice spot along one of the canals. Have a short run from there and make sure we are back before the parade starts. We have a very short circle -subtle hint for our RA-.

We do the run, watch the parade, have lunch, beer and fun. By the time the parade is near the end we start poking up the BBQ. After food there is no reason whatsoever to go home yet. It is Summer, we are in a nice spot, we have drinks and we are in good company. You come by public transport (Metro station nearby). And even then, the night is still young.
