Fun Facts about Leap years!

• Leap days were founded in 1961 to allow supermarkets one more day to clear out Valentine’s candy and switch to Easter candy.
• Leap years happen every four years by design to minimize the accidental coincidences with locust spawns which are offset by a prime number of years.
• If you die on a leap year, you die in real life.
• If your birthday is on a leap day, you are just as old as everyone else. No one escapes that slow dreadful beating on the drum of time, marching them to death. No stupid calendar convention is going to save you.
