AH3 #1354 – Let’s Escape to Uitgeest

For those who haven’t been to Uitgeest before, it’s just a 30-minute train ride from Amsterdam Centraal plus another 30 minutes to walk to the start. Uitgeest’s claim to fame is that they have at least five windmills and was the birthplace of the man who invented the wind-powered sawmill. More importantly to us, they have a lake which we could swim in after the hash, so bring your bathing suit and some extra money if you’d like to stay for the BBQ (please RSVP to ra@ah3.nl and state whether you want meat or veggie burgers if you plan to stay for the BBQ).
